Local Space Weather Modification

专题简介 (Session Description):

自上世纪电离层中的“卢森堡效应”(即电波的交叉调制效应)被发现以来,主动干预局部空间天气一直得到国际上的广泛关注,不断地推动了空间环境自然扰动的物理机制认识。本专题主要包括(但不限于)国内外研究进展综述、电离层加热理论(如欧姆加热理论、波及其相互作用、不稳定性等)、主动扰动电离层建模及其数值模拟、激发电离层不规则结构、调制产生ELF/VLF波、扰动效应及其诊断技术、调制辐射带的机理、辐射带生消的模拟与仿真。

Since the ionospheric ‘Luxembourg effect’ (that is, cross-modulation effect of radio wave) was found in 1933, modification of local space weather has received extensive attention worldwide, which greatly promotes the knowledge of the natural disturbances in space environment. This section mainly covers but without being limited to the reviews of the research progress in space weather modification, theory of the ionospheric heating (such as Ohmic heating theory, waves and their interactions, instability, etc.), modeling and numerical simulation of ionospheric modification, generation of artificially induced irregularities, generation of ELF/VLF waves radiation, modification effects and diagnostic technique, theory and simulation of the modulation of radiation belt.
